My Favorite Day in Las Vegas

July 4th I landed in Las Vegas. That town has changed so much since my last visit, just looking around at the sites on the strip and downtown was a blast. Bette truly was the best bet in town and dinner at Mesa Grill was a true delight. But, my favorite day of all was the day I spent surrounded by some of the greatest loves of my life! All it takes to feel safe, warm and loved is to walk into a room where these women are, it's the kind of feeling that life truly is about! Here they are!

Carol's sister, Michelle, My Precious Princess, My everlasting friend Carol, who has been one of my best friends for longer than either one of us want to think about, me and Grandma Helen, Carol's Mother. . .92 years old and still taking great care of her chicks! This was my favorite day of the entire trip!!! Life truly doesn't get any better than this! And, of course, anything "Beatles" makes my heart race because they were so right about so much and are for sure right that . . .
